Oh, how I have struggled with the lai. DVerse can be cruel sometimes. (No, it’s not. It’s a lovely place to poem, get over there and do something better than this).

This is well done. I hear you. DVerse has given many difficult prompts but I consider Lai to be among the most difficult ones. I have started several pieces and only got as far as the third line. THe limited number of syllables and strict rhyme scheme make a Lai so tough to write.
